The Governor also awarded Heating Equipment plant’s top management a certificate for the right to use the quality logo “Made in the Leningrad Region”. By results of wide-scale competition since 2017 this quality logo marks the best goods produced in the Leningrad region. The Governor also marked by the logo a new water heater that got off the conveyor — Thermex Thermo Power 2500.
“We have worked out very strict criteria, and the Thermex’s Heating Equipment plant is only the fourth company that has obtained the right to apply the ‘Made in the Leningrad region’ sign for its goods. This means that the water heaters produced here meet all the necessary quality standards,” — said Alexander Drozdenko.

The Heating Equipment Factory located in the city of Tosno in the Leningrad Region is the main production site of Thermex Corporation in Russia. The first stage of the factory started in 2007, the second stage was launched in 2010, the third — in the end of 2015. The leading European engineers from Italy and other countries participated in designing and construction of production lines. The total production area has increased by one third and is now 60 000 m². The turnout will increase from 1.4 million to 2 million pieces of water heaters per year. The automation degree of technological processes is more than 90%. Thanks to the more modern equipment the production rate has increased almost twice — every 15 seconds a new water heater comes off the assembly line. Today it is the largest factory in terms of water heaters production output in Russia and one of the most advanced ones in the world.
